Dr. David Dersh
Dr. David Dersh earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Albright College. He is a graduate of The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ).
He has received a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry due to his pursuit of continuing education. He was elected to Fellowship in the International College of Dentists for service to the profession. He has presented topics to dental professionals locally, nationally and internationally.
Dr. David Dersh is on the Attending Staffs of Overlook Hospital and Robert Wood University Hospital –Rahway. He is a past president of the Central Dental Society, and a member of the American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry, as well as various other study groups. He served on the Council for Annual Session for the New Jersey Dental Association, and has been a member of a number of local civic groups.
Dr. Dersh was raised in Westfield, and attended Westfield High School. He currently resides in Bridgewater with his wife and has two sons, one working and one in graduate school. He enjoys gardening, cooking, and auto racing.

- Office Manager- Receptionist
Phyllis joined the team in Janurary of 2010. She graduated from Middlesex County College with a Certificate in Dental Assisting. She has been working in the dental field for over 28 years. Phyllis is very happy to be working here and hopes to be with Dr. Dersh for many years to come.
Phyllis lives in Middletown with her Husband and their four children.
- Dental Hygienist
Tracy Constandi is our Dental Hygienist who has been on our team since 1992. She is gentle with the scalings and cleanings and has a passion for dental hygiene. When you come into the office for a hygiene appointment, Tracy becomes an instant influence in your dental health. In her eyes, you are not just a mouth, but a patient she wants to see succeed in maintaining a healthy mouth. She truly enjoys what she does.
Tracy is a graduate of Union County College with an AAS in Dental Hygiene. She grew up in Westfield and graduated from Westfield High School.
Tracy and her husband Frank live in Mountainside. She enjoys laughing, the beach, boating, traveling and doing charity work.
- Administrative Assistant
Dorothy has been with the Dr. Dersh team since February 1996. She came to help bring Dr. Dersh’s practice into the computer age- she succeeded – and has stayed on, part time, doing lots of different things: Receptionist, updating various computer files, billing and accounting- and fills in for Phyllis when shes not here.
“It’s great – I enjoy working here and enjoy all the patients. We accommodate everyone with appointments and help by handling their insurance claims and other needs in the office.”
Family keeps Dorothy busy, but she enjoys watching Pro Golf and Pro Football – and what she would like to do is get back to Yoga class!
- Receptionist
Alicia joined our team in March of 2013. She worked for Dr. Zicht in Mountainside for 20 years. When Dr. Zicht retired, Alicia was an integral part of the patients transition to our office. Alicia is a welcome addition to our office staff with her upbeat personality and charming accent. She is very happy to be here and is looking forward to many years at our office. She lives with her husband.
